Math:
Addition and Subtraction strategies for 2 and 3 digit numbers. This week we will work on regrouping, focusing on using the expanded form strategies.
Writing:
Procedural (How-To) Writing
Writing a hook, listing three steps, and creating a conclusion.
Science:
Project Lead the Way will continue with our States of Matter Unit. This week, the kids will use common household materials to try to insulate a popsicle so it won't melt. We will review insulators/conductors, states of matter, reversible/irreversible changes, and using a thermometer to complete the experiment.
