This Week's Objectives
Survive! :)
We will be finishing our unit on comparing and contrasting using different variations of The Gingerbread Man story. We will also be honing in on fluency by doing reader's theater presentations for our classmates.
In math, we will continue to practice our addition and subtraction facts to 20. We will also be continuing to learn how to collect data, make a pictograph and bar graph, and read and interpret graphs.
In writing, we will be revising and editing our persuasive essays with guidance, then practicing their own without my help. We are working on using a topic sentence, three details with supports, and a conclusion.

Merry Christmas
There is nothing better than being surrounded by children during the holidays. From the magic of the first snow to the enthusiastic re-telling of their Elves antics, Christmas is never more alive than through the eyes of children. Thank you for sharing them with me, and for all of your treats and gifts and notes of encouragement. Every day I am blessed to work with these kids and share the joys of the holiday season! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
