Holy guacamole, second grade families! Our class raised $91 for the St. Vincent's Pediatric ICU! What a generous outpouring of support and love. Thank you for your generosity!
We will be starting weekly homework in second grade! On Mondays, your child will bring home a folder containing a weekly word list and a math paper. Both are due back on Friday. The spelling word list comes with a menu so your child can choose how to practice his/her words each night. Please collect any work done in the folder and return on Friday. Not all work can be collected - that's fine! Just sign off on the date that your child completed an activity. We are hoping to instill responsibility, work-ethic, and time-management skills while also hitting our phonics skills a little harder. Thank you for your help in this area!
