This Week's Objectives
Week Six of Wonders is a "testing/review" week, so we get to have a little fun. We will be reviewing skills from this unit like key details, citing text evidence, ed endings, plural endings, and more. But we will also get to branch out a little bit and do some fun Halloween Themed activities.
In Math, we are finishing up chapter two. We will be learning about comparing numbers <>=, and adding/subtracting ten and 100 from numbers. Continue to practice skip counting, and get ready for addition and subtraction - it's just around the corner!
In science, we will continue with our Project Lead the Way module, States of Matter. Kids will be learning how to read a thermometer, and what materials conduct and insulate best, as well as how matter changes in reversible and irreversible ways.
